SILK MOHAIR - SAGE

SILK MOHAIR is a yarn composed of 72% Kid Mohair and 28% Mulberry Silk. It is soft, light, and airy, with a lovely fluffy effect.

Kid Mohair comes from young Angora goats. Its fiber is fine and soft, resulting in a warm yet very light and comfortable-to-wear yarn.

Silk adds strength and a slight sheen. Combined with mohair, it produces a soft, supple, and lightweight knit.

Our yarn is manufactured and dyed in South Africa, a country renowned for the quality of its mohair. It is RMS certified, a certification that considers the welfare of Angora goats, land preservation, and mohair traceability. It is also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified.

SILK MOHAIR can be knitted alone for a fine and airy fabric, or with another yarn to add more softness and warmth.

We do not recommend yarns containing mohair for babies under one year old. Small fibers can be slightly irritating if the baby puts the garment in their mouth.

SILK MOHAIR – SAGE is a very light, slightly greyish sage green. A soft and soothing color that is a joy to knit.

How to care for your knitwear?

Mohair does not need to be washed often. Simple airing is usually enough to refresh it.

When your knitwear needs washing, we recommend a delicate hand wash in lukewarm water at a maximum of 30 °C, with a special wool detergent.

Rinse it at the same temperature, then gently remove excess water by pressing it in a towel, without rubbing or twisting.

Lay it flat to dry, away from direct heat sources, to maintain its softness, loft, and shape.
