Where does Knit & Chill come from?
When I lived in Paris, between work, the metro, and the noise, life was stressful. Whenever I had five minutes, I'd pick up my phone to relax, but it had the opposite effect.
During a trip to Copenhagen, I discovered Hygge culture, the Danish art of well-being. I saw Danish women knitting everywhere. They seemed so absorbed in their knitting that they exuded a true sense of serenity.
Back in France, I bought my first needles and my first ball of yarn. From the very first stitches, I felt an immediate sense of calm. My hands were busy, my mind focused; I was in my own bubble.
Knitting changed my life so much that I wanted to share the well-being it brought me. From this desire, Tricote & Chill was born: knitting to slow down and allow yourself a moment just for yourself.
I started by creating videos on YouTube. Then I wanted to go further by designing my own yarns: quality, soft, and comforting yarns.
Animal welfare is very important to me. That's why I pay particular attention to the origin of the fibers and the conditions under which they are produced.
