The Top Eole

The Eole Top is knitted from top to bottom. The neckline is worked in the round, then the front and back are knitted separately flat. The two parts are then joined to knit the body in the round. An optional horizontal braid can be added before finishing with i-cord edges. Stitches are cast on using the "continental cast-on" technique. The yarn used is made of 50% linen, 27% baby alpaca, 18% cotton, and 5% wool, for a light and flexible top, ideal for mid-season.

3.5 mm circular needles of 40, 60 and 80 cm length. An additional needle or a piece of yarn to hold stitches.

Gauge

24 stitches x 33 rows in stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm needles.
